I would like to take the opportunity to welcome you to the WealthCounsel State Forum Website. If you are a longtime WealthCounsel member or simply a guest on our site, I trust that you will find a WealthCounsel state or regional forum that can contribute to your firm's success this year.

Our state and regional forums are groups of attorneys, typically comprised of both WealthCounsel members and non-members who meet on a regular basis to study specific issues that are relevant to the practice of estate planning in their state. Forums are also often involved in their state legislative process, apprising the forum participants of important changes in the law that affects their practices. Forums also often discuss pending state legislation and develop unique estate planning solutions and document language unique to their jurisdictions.

WealthCounsel Member Forum Support Program

WealthCounsel recognizes the important contribution that the state and regional forums provide our members. We plan to offer support to the forums that will enhance the member experience while maintaining the independent nature of these value-added state and regional forums. To that end, we are developing a program that will at least include both organization and financial sponsorship for new forums and enhanced state specific document programming services for all qualified forums. 

Lew Dymond has returned to the WealthCounsel staff to assist in the development and implementation of this new member service. Lew will focus primarily on providing jurisdictionally-preferred WealthDocx customization for state or regional forums (beyond the scope of WealthCounsel's commitment to maintain state specificity to the greatest degree possible). 

State Forum Speakers Bureau

WealthCounsel is creating a State Forum Speakers Bureau to provide state forums with expert speakers and topics for the purpose of providing quality, symposium level education at local forum meetings.  The State Forum Speakers Bureau will be listed on the newly designed state forum website where state forum leaders throughout the country will select speakers and topics for their conferences and forum meetings.  If you are interested in joining the State Forum Speakers Bureau, please email jenny.ellingson@wealthcounsel.com for an application.  Additional details such as qualifications and compensation are provided on the application form.
